Located in Denton County, the Lantana, Argyle and Double Oak area is actually comprised of many small cities including Bartonville and Copper Canyon plus
unincorporated Denton County. The areas of rolling hills, good schools and easy access into Denton, the DFW Airport, and Dallas remained mostly unnoticed until Republic Property Group started developing what was once the Rayzor family ranch. That development became what is now known as Lantana. Read more about living in the Lantana, Argyle, Double Oak area…

Lantana
Started in 1999 on the family owned Rayzor Ranch, the Master planned community of Lantana has grown into one of the top selling new communities in the DFW Metroplex. Lantana’s blend of amenities, top notch schools and country atmosphere has proven appealing to homebuyers.
Lantana Offers Country Club Lifestyle
Named after the native Texas Lantana flower and developed around an award winning golf course, the 1750 acre site will build out with approximately 4000 homes. Home buyers will find a blend of mid-level to luxury homes all within easy walking distance to the hiking trails, swimming pools (including tot pools and splash pools for the younger set), state of the art fitness centers with cardio and weight training equipment, tennis, and golf club.
Lantana Education Foundation
Three schools are located within the community. Eugenia Porter Rayzor Elementary, named in honor of Mr. Rayzor’s mother, opened in 2002. Tom Harpool Middle School and Blanton Elementary Middle School opened in 2008. One-half of one percent of the sale price of each home sold in Lantana is contributed to the permanent Lantana Education/Charitable Foundation. The Foundation funds advanced education programs and scholarships for Lantana students who attend the Denton ISD.
Argyle
In addition to sharing a mailing code with Lantana, Argyle shares the country feel. With the current population of only 7100 expected to grow to just over 11,000 by 2030, that country atmosphere should
remain. Rolling hills and wooded acerage lots means Argyle boasts one of the largest concentrations of horse farms in the area. But just because Argyle feels rural doesn’t mean it’s out in the middle of nowhere. Located near I-35 Argyle, like it’s neighbors Lantana, Flower Mound, and Double Oak, is convenient to Dallas, Denton and the DFW airport. Several new home communities are cropping up in Argyle and offer the opportunity for home buyers to build their own custom home. Argyle is served by the Argyle ISD.
Double Oak
Just 15 minutes north of the DFW Airport, Double Oak offers a small town environment with big city
convenience. The tiny town of just over 2 square miles retains its own identity despite it’s growing neighbors of Flower Mound, Lantana, and Argyle. The area’s rolling hills are dotted with crossbar fenced pastures populated by grazing horses. Double Oak is served by Denton Independent School District and Lewisville ISD.
